Mourillon has sandy beaches, gardens, play areas and restaurants. You can swim, have lunch and take a walk without getting back in the car. These bays were created on reclaimed land in the 1970s.

The beach and its surroundings

Lido, Mistral, La Source and Les Pins are the main swimming bays. Tabarly bay is devoted to watersports, and the council states that swimming is prohibited there. Do not confuse it with the neighbouring swimming beaches.

This is Mourillon’s main advantage: you can switch between sand, a walk and a meal without getting back into the car. Play areas and open spaces appeal to families, while terraces make it easy to stay longer as the heat eases. In summer the atmosphere can be lively.

These beaches were created in the 1970s on land reclaimed from the sea. They gave Toulon new places to swim, walk and spend the day by the water, in a city previously known mainly for its naval port.

Mourillon has facilities for visitors with reduced mobility and beach wheelchairs available through the municipal service. Contact the relevant post to arrange any assistance you need. Dogs are not allowed everywhere: Promenade Henri-Fabre and the designated dog areas have their own rules. Showers may be restricted during drought periods, so plan your return accordingly and carry drinking water.
