Le Télégraphe hosts cultural events alongside a bar and food service at 2 Rue Hippolyte-Duprat. The former telegraph building dates from 1850 and reopened as a cultural venue in 2018. Check its calendar for concerts, talks and other events.
More about your visit
The building dates to 1850. A former telegraph office and later a postal and telecommunications building, it reopened in 2018 with cultural events, a bar and food. Today you can come for a concert, a talk or a meal, depending on the programme. Before coming, distinguish between the cultural event, restaurant and bar. Their admission arrangements, opening times and reservations are not interchangeable. Booking a table does not automatically give you a ticket to a performance.
Choose an event by checking its length, time and language. An international group may find a concert easier to enjoy than a talk in French. If you mainly want a drink and a conversation, ask about that evening’s atmosphere and which spaces will be open.
The location lets you stay in the centre rather than arrange a long evening excursion. Nevertheless, plan your return before going out: the last public transport service may not coincide with the end of an event. Leave a margin between dinner and the advertised start, and consult the organiser’s information for tickets, admission and any age restrictions.
