Saint-Asile has sand, a pine grove and views of the Deux Frères rocks. It is in Pin-Rolland, at the entrance to the Saint-Mandrier peninsula.
The beach and its surroundings
Pines and salt-tolerant plants give this place a different identity from a long, completely open beach. Follow the layout and notices, leaving roots and planted areas undisturbed.
Choose your destination carefully: Saint-Asile is in Pin-Rolland, not on the beaches beside Saint-Mandrier’s port. Promenade Latouche-Tréville is the address given in the tourist listing. When driving, use authorised parking and allow extra time on busy days.
Tourist documentation lists an access mat and a bathing wheelchair available during summer through the lifeguard post. These are useful facilities, but confirm the schedule and assistance needed before coming. For families, sand and nearby pine woodland make a varied outing easier; they do not replace adult supervision by the water. Check actual sea conditions and the flags.
